STUDIO

At LAYA Architects, we are more than just an architecture practice. We are a team of architects and technical specialists who strive to push the boundaries of conventional architectural design with our fresh exploratory approach. Our goal is to create innovative and meaningful buildings that redefine the way people interact with their environments.

The name LAYA is derived from the Sanskrit word 'Laya', which has various meanings in different contexts. It represents the studio's approach to architecture as an art form that combines various elements such as culture, history, innovation, sustainability, and functionality to create designs that have a sense of place, purpose, and beauty, combining the exploration of new ideas and experimenting with new architectural forms.

We take pride in our expertise in cultural identity, which is deeply rooted in the communities and cultures we serve. We understand that architecture has the power to celebrate and preserve cultural identity, to tell the stories of the past, and to shape the future. Our designs are not just buildings but cultural artifacts that reflect the values, traditions, and aspirations of the people we serve.

We believe that cultural identity is dynamic and evolves over time. It is shaped by interactions with other cultures and environments. Therefore, ou designs are not just replicas of the past but are informed by contemporary needs and aspirations. We embrace diversity and inclusivity in our desig process, recognizing that the best designs come from listening to and learning from the communities we serve.

At LAYA Architects, we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment, promoting regenerative design, and advocating for a more sustainable and resilient future. Our designs are not just beautiful but functional, sustainable, and resilient. We believe that our work can make a difference.

Currently, our studio is working on projects in the US, China and India.
